NHS App - patient access to NHS services - GP, Hospital and 111

Over thirteen million people across England have downloaded the NHS App [as at Oct 21], and use it as a 'single pane of glass' to manage their healthcare, and access NHS patient services.

  • Manage how your medical records are shared by the NHS via the National Opt Out

  • Access to health advice on NHS.UK

  • Access urgent care via 111 Online or start a GP Online Consultation [depending on your local area's services

And, if your GP surgery has turned on these features for your NHS App account, you can:

  • Access your latest lab test results

  • View your medical record [Detailed Care Record - DCR]

  • View the documents scanned onto your GP record
